Dr. Rob Peters, Senior Pastor Pastor Rob joined First Baptist at Weston as Senior Pastor in December of 1999. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee Tech University in 1991 and his Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1995. Pastor Rob completed his Doctorate of Ministry in December 2001 at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to joining FBCW, he served in churches in Texas, Virginia and Atlanta, Georgia where he met his wife, Wendy. They are proud parents of 3 children. Scott Allred Associate Pastor of Discipleship Scott has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Education from Tennessee Technological University. He worked in the financial services industry for five years before answering God's call to full-time ministry. Scott graduated with a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and joined the staff at FBCW in October 2002. He and his wife Shay are originally from Tennessee and have one daughter, Elizabeth. Joe Guynes Church Administration Director Joe joined FBCW in September 2010 serving as our Church Administration Director after completing a thirty year career with Johnson & Johnson. Joe received a B.S. Degree in Accountancy from Villanova University in 1981 and a Masters of Business Administration from Xavier University in 1996. He is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity Degree at Knox Theological Seminary in Ft. Lauderdale. In addition to serving as our Administration Director for First Baptist Church at Weston and Weston Christian Academy, he also serves as leader of our Men’s Ministry. Joe and his wife, Cathy, have been married thirty years and have four wonderful children, Jonathan, Jessica, Trevor, and Lindsey. Joe and Cathy have lived in South Florida the last fourteen years but have experienced many other regions of the United States and the world while working for Johnson and Johnson. Joe Hill Associate Pastor of Worship and Media Joe joined the First Baptist Weston staff in March of 2005. He has served for the past 19 years in the South Florida area as both Worship and Youth Pastor. Joe and his wife Pam are both native South Floridians and have 2 daughters, Ashley and Amanda. William Long Director of Childhood Ministries William has been a member of FBCW since relocating to South Florida from Tampa in early 2001, and has served in various roles within the Children's Ministry. He left Corporate America and joined the FBCW staff as the Director of Childhood Ministries in November 2005. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.
