The protection and care of children while on our campus is very important to us. Each Sunday we minister to well over 500 children, and as God continues to grow His ministry here at FBC, we must ensure a safe and secure environment for all children.
Below are a few extra measures that we implement and adhere to during service times. Please understand that these guidelines are non-negotiable and will be followed without exception.
1. We maintain strict door control and children are never left alone or allowed out of a secure Children's Ministry area unsupervised at any time, including restroom breaks.
2. Children are only released to parents or authorized adults that have the claim check that corresponds with the number on the child's nametag. The only exception is 4th and 5th graders who are released when their class is complete.
3. Children are not allowed to re-enter a secure Children's Ministry area or classroom once they have been released to a parent. In other words, they cannot be checked in to the same hour or class more than once. The only exception is a child may accompany a parent who is serving as a V.I.P. (if approved in advance by the Early Childhood Director).
