An important ministry in our church is our ministry to the residents at Manor Care Nursing Home. On the fourth Sunday of each month at 2:30 pm, members and regular attenders of First Baptist Church at Weston gather at the nursing home to minister to the needs of the residents. This ministry is led by our Singles Group, but it is open for everyone in the church to participate. In the past, people from the choir, the Spanish-speaking worship team, our children's choir, and other small group members have participated in this great ministry. If you can give a resident your presence and a conversation, you will make a huge impact in the life of a resident at Manor Care. This is a great service activity the whole family can participate in. The residents love seeing the kids and interacting with them, plus it is a great way to encourage your kids to serve others and learn care and compassion for senior adults. Location:
